this is Brett Slansky and I had to develop this blog, because Microsoft become very greedy.
I have been Xbox 360 player since its introduction and I love the Microsoft ways of building great computer technologies.
Lately, I have been getting xbox 360 3 red lights on, which annoyed the heck out of me! I have turn the machine on and off, yet I could not finish to play my favorite game…what a bummer!
Called Microsoft support and get a really nice answer about how to fix the xbox 360 3 red light that are on on my machine.
They suggested to send the xbox 360 to them to take a look at it and quoted a price of more then $100 bucks. They must be insane!
I am wondering how many times, the xbox 360 3 red light problem comes up to average xbox players.
Is it that Microsoft wants and extra paycheck in this “tough economy”?

My Xbox 360 was displaying red lights so i called up microsoft .i have sent my console to the repair centre.I had new xbox experience.so when they will replace it, the nxe will still be there or i will have the old dashboard.i want the old dashboard.i don’t like the nxe.
You’ll have the old dash but as soon as you reconnect to LIVE you’ll need to update to NXE

ok i have xbox 360 and as you probably already can guess 3 red lights now i have encountered this before and i just send it of to MS but this time is different i bought a new arcade because i was fed up of my old premium being sent off i ALSO paid game for 2 years warranty now all i have to do is take it in and they give me a new one BUT this time i have a major prob i have a game stuck in cd drive and they will take the machine and give me a new one but i ned to get my cd out without damaging the xbox or taking it apart anyone know of a way to get the cd tray out without forcing it ?
I had this same thing happen. If you send it in it could take up to a month to get it back.

My warranty is about to expire and i want to get a new 360 before it runs out of juice. Do you know a way how to get the RROD quickly?

Today I came home from school and i went and turned on my 360. About a minute later the whole screen went black and the console had three flashing lights. I have heard of the red ring of death but never thought it would happen to me. So how do permanently fix it.
No warrenty

i have a xobox that is lighting up red but its all four red lights are on not the three for the ring of death does anyone no what cause’s all 4 lights to come on and how to fix it?
You can send in your xbox to microsoft. If you’re under warranty it’s free, but it’ll take about 3-4 weeks before you even see your XBOX back. If not under warranty, then it’ll easily cost you over $100 and still take 3-4 weeks. Been there done that.
Just get yourself a repair guide, it’s seriously the easiest thing to do and you’ll be up and running same day.

You’ll find what you are looking for. I fixed my own and haven’t had a problem for 5 months now =P

im ready to send off my xbox to microsoft cos of the red lights but i was wondering if anyone with experience of the problem can tell me how long till i get my xbox back. ill just average all the times i get 
From what i gather bout the problem its a manufacturing problem if you have a console thats got the problem it could take a year or more to break but eventualy it will. Microsoft fixes them for free so it isnt all bad. Microsoft sucks 
They recently discovered an issue with the system. MS is not disclosing the function of the lights properly to anyone at the moment. But here is the thing, the red light means the cpu is overheating, yes many have experienced the problem, you see thermal paste dries of after a year or even less than that time and thats why the 360 starts to get hot, some ignoring the light had burnouts. MS will add a better heatsink and fan and new thermal paste and even provide a bios upgrade for better heat management.

I got my xbox 360 a few christmas’ back and just after the warranty ran out i got 1 red light, the e73 error. I rang microsoft and they said it would cost £80 plus shipping fees for it to get fixed which is a disgrace. The only way i can get it fixed for free is if it has the three lights. Can anybody help me??

you should find the right guide right away for cheap. even if you do get the 3 red lights, the DIY beats the 3-week wait time.
